Skill sessions on Friday evenings will re-commence 17 February 2017 (delayed from 10/02/2017, due to extreme heat), and continue through to and including 31 March 2017 from 5.00 – 6.00pm at the Willows Oval ANU (corner North Road and Barry Drive). The sessions cost $5 per child.
For those new to hockey we will have sticks available, but we also require children to have shinpads and highly recommend mouthguards. If you would like to buy a stick, shinpads, bag and ball, the Hockey Shop at the Hockey Centre have combined with Uni Juniors to develop a Bunyips Pack which is very reasonably priced. There isn’t any requirement for uniforms over the summer program although they are also available at the Hockey Shop.
For each session we will be splitting the children up in to groups according to ability and experience so they get the appropriate level of coaching. Each session will have a mix of skills development and games.
